We are proud to welcome students to our new home facility in Abita Springs, LA.  This is after many years of doing our best to fit in at boarding facilities in Southern California.  To finally now have our own place to share our love for horses, movement, the sport of vaulting, and our culture of horsemanship with others is an opportunity we are truly grateful for.  FACE Farms is just over 8 acre of subtropical green in all its glory. Our town of Abita Springs is located in the beautifully lush North Shore region above Lake Pontchartrain in Souther Louisiana, and is just over a one hour drive from the New Orleans International Airport. We have green pastures with well ventilated shelters and a small poll barn with spacious stalls allowing our horses and guests to live in a kind of natural luxury when staying with us in this southern paradise.  We had a bran new 120'/80' outdoor dressage arena built upon moving here in 2023 with excellent drainage to accommodate the weather in this lush land.  When weather permits, one can even ride all around the green grass fields, forested trails, and around our pond that is home to a beautiful family of ducks, turtles, and countless frogs living amongst the lily pads.  We have also turned a warehouse into a spacious well matted equestrian vaulting training gym that is home to the world famous Equestrian Movie Barrel, a state of the art mechanical wonder.  The Movie Barrel is a cantering horse simulator allowing vaulters and riders to train on a cantering horse without any forward movement and safety mats all around in a controlled environment.  With two other vaulting barrels, gymnastics rings, an array of training equipment, students have an impressive array of tools to advance their growth.  Our small rural paradise is within reach of all the cultural attractions of New Orleans and the small town charm of Abita Springs and we look forward to sharing it with future students, friends, and horses.
